1.Community and civic engagement specialist Rappler is looking for a full-time, NCR-based community and civic engagement specialist for MovePH, the civic engagement arm of Rappler.MovePH connects journalism with communities, for impact.
We do this through on-ground events, campaigns, community-driven storytelling, working with partners, and sparking important conversations both online and offline.
A community and civic engagement specialist leads online and onground community building events and advocacy campaigns, and works on solutions- and community-focused content.These advocacies touch on countering disinformation and promoting media and information literacy, active civic engagement, DRRM, among others.They’re also expected to work with community leaders and coalitions to help advance these advocacies.
Must-haves:
