PM Narendra Modi interacting with students and teachers during the fifth edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ in New Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium on Friday.NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday advised students to celebrate exams as festivals.”April is a month full of festivals. But while celebrating these festivals, we also have to focus on exams. So why shouldn’t we celebrate exams as festivals,” PM Modi said during ‘ Pariksha Pe Charcha ‘.
Here are the key highlights of the Prime Minister’s interaction with students during the 5th edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’:
* People were skeptical about ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ when I enunciated it while delivering speech for the first time on August 15.Their skepticism was proven wrong by the country’s children.
They spread awareness regarding cleanliness campaign.
*Students sometimes face difficulties while making important decisions.Students should develop a habit of revising whatever they have learnt in class with their friends.
This will help them absorb knowledge together.
*Parents and teachers should not inject their own dreams and unfulfilled aspirations into children.
*Parents sometimes fail to closely observe the strength and interests of their children. We should understand that every child is blessed with something extraordinary that parents and teachers fail to discover a lot of times.
*Students should not feel they are under pressure from teachers and parents to score good marks.Parents should not inject their dreams into children. They should be allowed to decide their future freely.
*Skills are quite important across the world.Technology is not a bane, it should be used effectively.
*Online education is based on the principle of attaining knowledge while offline education is regarding sustaining that knowledge and practically applying it further.
*Students should introspect themselves while studying online, whether they actually study or spend time watching reels on social media.
*Whatever happens offline, same takes place online. This means the medium is not the problem.
Irrespective of the medium, if our mind is delved into the subject, then it won’t make a difference is grasping things.
* No need to copy friends, just keep doing whatever you do with full confidence and I believe all of you will be able to give your exam in festival mood.
* I want students to stay away from a panic environment during exams .
* There is no one sitting here who will appear for exams for the first time.We have become exam proof by repeatedly sitting for exams after equal intervals of time.
