Joel Glazer joined another Man Utd Fans Forum meeting on Friday.(Image: GETTY) Glazer participated in his second United Fans Forum meeting in four months after making a welcome first appearance in June.

Discussing United’s on-the-pitch exploits, the 54-year-old expressed the Glazer family’s delight with Murtough’s work over the summer.

But he suggested the club’s work with bolstering ‘s squad isn’t done, prompting anticipation over future recruitment.

He told those present: “The most important thing is always on-the-pitch success.We’re very happy with the summer.We can always improve.There’s always more work to be done.”

lays into Jurgen Klopp for Man Utd change Glazer explained his intentions to improve dialogue with fans during his first appearance in June, including making the Forum more diverse.

On Friday, representatives for under-21 fans, international fans, and the Manchester United Women Supporters’ Club were among new Forum members.

“We said a few months ago it was important that we expand this Forum to have a more diverse representation of our fan base, and I think we’re taking good steps in that direction,” Glazer added.

In June, Glazer also outlined plans to create a Fans’ Advisory Board and Fans’ Share Scheme to have an additional channel for supporter input and a vehicle for mass fan ownership of shares in the club, respectively.

“There’s still work to be done.It’s rather complex; I think everyone’s realising as they get deeper into it.

The meeting lasted two hours and will provide United supporters with further hope and optimism that positive change will continue to arrive.
